Hope for the homeless is something that came out of my desire to give back to those in need in my community. My parents always taught my sister and I the importance of giving back. Although I've participated in numerous charity projects throughout my years in school, a recent trip to New York motivated me to do something more. I attended an event honoring those who volunteered their time with UNICEF. While there I saw firsthand the potential impact one person could have on a community of people nationwide. I was inspired by those who shared why they committed their lives to helping others and I believe I was changed when I heard from those who were recipients of that help.

I quickly realized it doesn't matter how old you are. You just have to be willing to do something. Well, I want to give hope to those who need it. My vision is to provide a wholesome and sweet treat to brighten someone's day. If you're a bakery owner, employee or store that sells baked goods, consider donating your unsold baked goods to Hope for the Homeless. Me and my team will pick up your unsold baked goods and deliver them to homeless sites in Dallas. Help me bring hope and a smile to those less fortunate.
